Using the website
Your network address is needed to serve requests. I do not use advertising or analytics trackers. Technical error logs are used to keep the website working. Production logs are limited to seven days; ordinary access logging is disabled.
Your theme, sorting and favorite product lines are saved in your browser's local storage. You can remove them by clearing this website's browser data. A security cookie protects the feedback form against forged submissions.
Serving the website, diagnosing errors and preventing abuse are based on my legitimate interests in operating a secure, reliable information service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Browser preferences are stored when you choose them; the feedback security cookie is necessary to protect the form.
Sending feedback
Your message and optional email are saved and forwarded to me so I can review and respond to your report. Please do not send passwords, confidential information or other sensitive data. Your email is optional and is used only to respond to your report.
Feedback processing is based on my legitimate interests in receiving reports, correcting information and responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Sending feedback is voluntary; an email address is not required to submit a report.
Delivery uses Telegram Messenger Inc.: your message and optional email are sent to my private Telegram destination, not published to the release channel. These are cloud messages, not end-to-end encrypted. Telegram’s privacy policy describes its processing, including sharing with group companies outside the European Economic Area and the standard contractual clauses it says it uses. You do not need a Telegram account to use the form. Alternatively, contact me directly by email.
Successfully delivered reports are removed from the website's queue 90 days after delivery. Reports awaiting delivery remain queued. Copies in my private message history remain until manually deleted. Encrypted backup copies expire according to the backup schedule; monthly recovery points are retained for three months.
To limit abuse, the website temporarily stores a keyed digest of your network address, separately from your report. Entries older than 24 hours are removed during queue maintenance or the next submission. Reports contain no raw network address or browser details.
Email and external links
If you email me directly or I reply to your report, Microsoft processes the correspondence through my Outlook.com mailbox under its privacy statement. Correspondence is used to handle your enquiry on the same legitimate-interest basis and kept only as long as needed for that purpose or applicable legal obligations. Manufacturer and release-channel links open services with their own privacy practices; the website does not subscribe you to them.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR’s conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and, where applicable, data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Contact me by email; for feedback, include your report reference if available. Avoid sending additional sensitive information. I do not use your data for automated decisions or profiling.
You can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
